Angola's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) expanded by 2.2 percent in the fourth quarter of 2021. Transportation and logistics, and fishery boosted the growth performance, each sector with a variation of over 30 percent in value-added to the economy. Mining also had a key role, with a 20 percent increase in the sector's GDP. On the other hand, financial activities, oil extraction and refining, and telecommunications saw shrinkage in their value added to the country's GDP.
